Assault riffles

An assault rifle is a rifle that uses an intermediate cartridge, a detachable magazine, and can switch between semi-automatic and fully automatic fire. They are being used in medium to long range encounters, and due to the outstanding balance between power, range, and accuracy, the assault riffles are the standard service weapon in most modern armies.
